Plan Cameroon is in the process of acquiring a grant from the World Food Program(WFP) for the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities relating to  the management of Moderate Acute Malnutrition(MAM) in the East, North and Far-North regions. Within this framework we are looking for potential Cameroonian candidates for one year duration renewable contract to fulfill the positions below:

NB: Awarding employment contracts to selected candidates will depend on the final agreement on the grant with the donor.

Title: (01)Driver for the Supplementary Feeding Program(SFP).

Duty Station: Garoua with a possibility to be transferred anywhere in Cameroon.

Main responsabilities and Responsibilities

Under the authority of the Logistician, the Driver will among other tasks perform the following:

  • Ensure safety of the assigned vehicle and passengers while on mission;
  • Drive plan Staff, international visitors and cargo with authorized Mission Order and stocked first aid kit;
  • Keep a log of all movements of goods and passengers transported by the assigned vehicle;
  • Respect speed limit within town and on the highway.

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum a BEPC or GCE Ordinary Level;
  • A valid driving licence at category D;
  • At least two years' experience in the public sector or NGOs

Skills and Behaviour

  • Good computer skills;
  • Basic knowledge in motors mechanics and a suitable and valid driving license category D;
  • Has experience in NGO environment
  • Polite, clean and healthy person, Fluency in written and spoken English or French;
