JOB ADVERT: PROGRAMME DIRECTOR (M/F)

Established in 1949, SOS Children’s Villages is a dynamic social development organization globally working to meet the needs, and protect the interests and rights of children who are at risk of losing parental care and children without parental care. SOS Children’s Villages international is the umbrella organization that provides support and guidance to SOS member association in over 132 countries worldwide.

As part of its strategic planning, SOS Children’s Village Cameroon is in the process of recruiting Two(02) Programmer Directors to lead planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the SOS children’s villages’ programmes in Mbalmayo and Douala, in accordance with the organizational standards and strategic.

Interested candidates are requested to send-in their applications in conformity with the listed requirements and guidelines: 

Education Requirements:

  • A post-high school diploma/degree (university, higher colleges) in management, human resources management, psycho-social psychology, education, and child/youth care development, community development or social work.
  • An additional post-graduate diploma/degree in one of the above mentioned fields is highly recommended
  • Proficiency in English and French is desired.
Experiences:
  • At least years of work experience in leadership, management and child/youth quality care (preferably in relevant NGO setting at local, national or international environment)
  • Strong work experience in child/youth care, education, social work or community development is desired
  • Experience in children’s development work, child’s right and protection is a strong value-added requirement.
