JOB OFFER: Research Communication and Uptake Officer

The COUNTDOOWN Consortium dedicated to investigating cost effective, scale up and sustainable solutions to control and eliminate the seven most common Neglected Tropical Diseases by 2020 is looking for a Research Communication-Uptake Officer, and a Database Manager. The jobs aim at maximizing the impact of the research generated by the COUNTDOWN consortium.

Research Communication and Uptake Officer

Experience in health and sciences are some of the competencies needed for task. An oversight and upholding of the COUNTDOWN website as well as lead on data collection showing the applications and use of the COUNTDOWN research are part of main duties to be assigned.

Person specification 

• Holder of a Master degree in health, politics or international development related subjects.
• Media working experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English and French language.
• Skills in developing a range of outputs for communication research. 
• Good networking.
